Closing Celebration - special thanks to the children, youth, catechists, parents and Fr. Andrew for participating in this wonderful celebration. The children’s planters are near the entrance of St. Agnes and Star of the Sea churches and we are waiting for our little seeds to grow. May you have a summer full of God’s blessings and may your seeds of faith grow strong.
Catechists - if you interested in becoming a catechist or remaining as a catechist please contact Marie. It is not too early to think of September and it comes around so quickly.
First Reconciliation - congratulations to Mackenzie Casey and Emerald Newell who celebrated Reconciliation on Thursday, May 13 and received God’s gift of mercy in forgiveness of sins. May you always be ready and happy to come to God and receive his forgiveness. Thank you to Fr. Andrew for working with the children in preparing for this sacrament.
First Eucharist - congratulations to Rheanna Casey, Cassidy Fougere, Rylie MacLean, Regan Parker, Brady Rhynold and Hanna Rhynold who received Jesus for the first time in the Eucharist this Sunday. In order to protect those individuals with fragrance sensitivities and to possibly prevent others from developing such sensitivities, our parishes are asking for voluntary cooperation towards a scent-reduced environment. Parishioners are strongly encouraged to avoid or reduce the use of fragranced products, and to replace them with unscented alternatives. We are currently working on obtaining hypo-allergenic incense.
