THE SACRED PASCHAL TRIDUUM - Through his Paschal Mystery, the Lord Jesus redeemed the human race and gave perfect glory to the Father. By dying, Christ destroyed our death; by rising, he restored our life. For this reason, the Ester Triduum, when we celebrate the suffering, Death and Resurrections of our Lord, is the high point of the Liturgical Year. The Easter Solemnity is to the year what Sunday is to the week. The celebration of the Easter Triduum opens with the evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, reaches it climax in the Easter vigil, and closes with Evening Prayer II on Easter Sunday. Let us come together to celebrate this wonderful mystery.

PLEASE NOTE: The churches of St. Agnes and St. Vincent de Paul are closed for the winter months. MASS will resume May 1 & 2, 2021.

COMMUNION CALLS - If you know of anyone who is unable to get out to Mass and would like to receive Holy Communion, please call the parish office to have their name added to the list.

REFLECTION ON TODAY’S READINGS From Hosanna to Crucify Him!

The celebration of the Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the narration of his passion and death. These two events that historically took place on different occasions have been united into a single Liturgical celebration. This celebration is a story of our own lives. Just as Jesus, there are times when we meet with success and receive appreciation and support from others. At other times, we encounter failure and experience rejection and condemnation. Jesus was a picture of majesty and serenity on both occasions because of his unflinching trust in his Father. He has left us an example to be imitated.
