REFLECTION ON TODAY’S READINGS - “Mary Has Chosen the Good Portion” – (Luke 10:38-42) - Life is not without choices; the consequences of these choices leave us in either pain or happiness. The choices we make are informed by our priorities in life. Therefore, the reason for most pains in life is misplaced priorities. When Jesus visits the house of Mary and Martha, Martha chooses to do the running around while Jesus is speaking and teaching. Mary chooses to just sit and listen. Jesus says Mary has made the right choice. Listening is a skill as well as a gift. God speaks to us each day in the daily events of our lives. However, very often we get so busy that we don’t hear Him speak to us. We miss His clues and daily messages for us in the pursuit of other priorities. ‘Lord, give us the ears to hear You speak to us and the heart to accept what You teach us.’

HEARTFELT APPRECIATION
I sincerely wish to on behalf of myself and my entire family express our deepest sense of gratitude to all of you for the support (both spiritually and materially) that you gave to me from the death of my Dad to the time that I traveled back home for his funeral and burial. I lack words to convene my feelings of appreciation. My prayer is that the Almighty God will continue to bless, strengthen and replenish you all.
Thank You! Thank You!! Thank You!!!

- Fr. Jonathan

PRAY FOR PRIESTS - The Holy Father prays that our Blessed Mother may always guide and protect priests who are consecrated to the joyful and indispensable mission of proclaiming the Gospel and offering God’s people, through the celebration of the sacraments, the closeness, the word and the strength of Christ.’ - (from Pope Francis’ Apostolic Blessing for the annual Global Rosary Relay for Priests)
